Peake is author of Is There Life After Death?: The Extraordinary Science of What Happens When We Die (Chartwell Books, 2006) and The Daemon: A Guide to Your Extraordinary Secret Self (Arcturus Publishing, 2008). He rose to prominence in 2005 with the publication of a piece entiled, Cheating the Ferryman: A New Paradign of Existence by the Journal of Near Death Studies. Drawing from the Implicate Order theory of David Bohm, Peake's binary mind thesis ( which he terms "eidolon/daemon dyad") reveals a secret self within the structures of the human brain and human consciousness, which serves as a guide in life and a savior at death, allowing us to "cheat the ferryman" and live a series of recurring lives, as envisioned by the 19th century German philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche. Peake's theory is of interest to academics and students interested in quantum philosophy, human consciousness, cognitive psychology, and neurology. He is a professional member of the International Scientific and Medical Network and the Society for Near Death Studies. This July, Mr. Peake is honored platform lecturer at the National Theatre in London, and appears in their documentary on J.B. Priestley's classic work on Time and Mind, "Time and the Conways". Peake has presented hundreds of lectures across Great Britain, and numerous radio broadcasts throughout Europe and the Untited States. His appearance at the Roosevelt Hotel marks his first professional lecture in New York City and the U.S.
